Budapest Semester Abroad

You are invited to apply for the Budapest Semester Internship through the Center for Global Education. Spend your Spring 2015 semester on the banks of the Danube river in beautiful and historic Budapest, Hungary. Participants earn 15 George Mason University credits over the semester while interning 3 days per week and taking classes two days per week. Gain professional experience while exploring central Europe. All participants are guaranteed an internship position.

This semester-long study abroad program is especially created for students studying Conflict Analysis and Resolution, Government and International Politics, Anthropology, Sociology, Global Affairs, and History.

A sample of the potential internship placements include: Hungarian Civil Liberties Union, American Chamber of Commerce, Republikon Institute, Hungarian Europe Society, Roma Education Fund, and many more.

The program is financial aid eligible and the cost is similar to a semester living on campus in Fairfax for an in-state student and substantially less for an out-of-state student.

Online applications are being accepted now. All application materials should be submitted by October 3, 2014.
