12:30 PM: Lunch at Stan's Place.

Hyak Sno-Park
Exit 54 off I-90, 1 mile south of exit, just follow the signs.
What to bring:
Sled, camera, Sno-Park permit (see details below), many family members including kids, food, soft drinks, snacks, warm clothes and good weather!
No registration is required.
Parking:
When using a Sno-Park lot, your vehicle must have a current Sno-Park permit displayed in the windshield. For a list of vendors who sell permits, call Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission at 360-902-8844, write to P.O. Box 42650, Olympia, WA 98504-2650, or visit the Washington State Parks website. Purchase a Sno-Park Daily Permit On-Line from Washington State Parks Sno-Park permits are also available at
Mt. Baker, Darrington, Skykomish, North Bend, and Enumclaw offices.
Permits cost: $20 for 3 consecutive days.

Let's visit Cougar Mountain!
Meeting:
Sunday, April 18th 2010
at 10:00 AM at in the Red Town trailhead parking lot. We are taking a group picture between 10:05 and 10:10. The hike starts at 10:15.
Directions:
From Seattle take I-90 east and get off at Exit 13 (Lakemont). Turn toward Cougar Mountain and follow Lakemont Boulevard Southeast. Roughly four miles ahead there are signage of the parking lot.
About the hike:
This park has a large number of trails and we still have things to explore. Our plan is to have a moderate hike.
What to bring:
camera, family members (especially kids), snacks, water, windbreaker, and good weather.
No registration is required. No rain day. In case of bad weather the hike is cancelled!

Scholarship Contest 2010
Learn Hungarian with the help of the HAAW
The Board of the Hungarian American Association of Washington decided to invite students to apply for a scholarship which can be used to improve their Hungarian language skills. Some examples of approved activities: Hungarian Scouts camp in the US, summer camp in Hungary or Transylvania where Hungarian language is used, a high-school semester in a Hungarian high school, Hungarian language class in the US, Hungary or Transylvania.
Applications need to be submitted by February 28th, 2010.
Corvinus University of Budapest is calling for applications for its Master of Arts in International Relations program. The program is fully in English.
Program deadline: April 16th, 2010.
